Five Step Cleaning Process

Our five-step cleaning process is the most efficient in the industry:

      1. We ask our customer to walk us through the areas that need cleaning and show us the areas of concern.

      2. The technician identifies and treats each stain with the appropriate solvent.

      3. The technician will pre-spray all traffic areas with a traffic lane cleaner to help loosen the soil from the carpet fibers. The solvent sits on the carpet between 5-10 minutes depending on how heavily the area is soiled.

      4. The technician will proceed in steam cleaning the carpets by applying hot treated water and extracting all water and soil from the carpet. This process can be repeated depending on how heavily the carpet is soiled.

      5. The technician will then groom the carpet for faster drying time and appeal.

      6. For the last step we ask the customer to do a quick walk through for customer satisfaction.

How much does it cost?

Minimum service charge is $59.95. This covers approximately 400 square feet of carpeted area or 2 rooms (living room and dining room). Any additional area or room is $19.50.

 

How long does it take to dry?

Normally it takes 4-6 hours to dry, but it could take up to 24 hours depending on outdoor humidity and temperature. It also depends on how heavily the carpets are soiled. The more times we wash it the longer it takes to dry.

 

Why should I have my carpets cleaned?

Cleaning your carpets will create a healthy environment. Carpet is the sink or filter of the house and collects dust mites, bacteria and microorganisms. It also adds to the appearance of your home, as well as increases the carpet’s life expectancy when cleaned properly.

 

Why can’t I just use a rental carpet machine?

Usually those machines have very low cleaning pressure and temperature. High residue content left in the fibers causes rapid resoil. Over wetting by the consumer can cause damage to the carpet fibers and backing materials. Fungi growth increases when carpets remain wet for a prolonged period of time.

 

What is the difference between the wet cleaning method versus the dry cleaning method?

Wet cleaning is more thorough as the entire yarn is cleaned. Soil and cleaning solutions are removed by high powered vacuum extraction. It is the preferred method by manufacturers. Dry cleaning is a maintenance method of cleaning. A dry cleaning solution is applied to the top of the yarn. A cotton bonnet is utilized to remove the soil. It is not extracted and only the top third of the yarn is cleaned. Dry cleaning is like rubbing pieces of cloth together to remove a stain.

 

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

It depends on many factors: number of occupants, kids, pets, traffic, etc. Carpets should be professionally cleaned every 6-12 months. Cleaning more often will not affect the life expectancy of the carpet. In fact, frequent vacuuming and periodic professional cleaning can triple the life expectancy of carpet.

 

Can you clean/remove pet odours?
